Study Abroad

I really want to go to Spain, but it looks like Stanford’s only options for Spain are full year programs. Spending a year in Spain would be amazing, but I’m not sure if I could get my required classes done in 3 years. I want to major in math/comp sci, so I doubt I could take many of those classes in Spain. Are any current students in a similar situation or anyone have any advice?

You can do a quarter abroad in Madrid…

How easy is it to do study abroad? Does it have a lot of requirements, paperwork, etc.? Are spaces for study abroad limited?

I also want to travel abroad to Spain, but only for a quarter. However, I was under the impression that of the several BING overseas studies programs available, Spain was not one of them. Has this changed?

no, but the Spanish language program offers an exchange through other universities; which is why I was under the impression that it was a whole year program.

Madrid is a new program offered through Bing OSP.

By the time you study abroad, it should be up and running.
