This is a really simple question but i bought an SAT prep book but I’m taking the ACT (I don’t know why I did that). Can I still use it temporarily before getting a new one? I do realize that there is no science.

yeah it will still help you a lot on reading, writing, and math…the ACT math includes some pre-calc stuff so if you don’t remember that stuff you may need to review

Yes, you can use it temporarily before getting a new one. I was studying for the PSAT and SAT my junior year from October up to March using SAT prep books. Then I took the ACT in April, and found that there wasn’t too much of a difference between both tests, except the general format, science section, and certain aspects of math. I of course bought and used ACT books to study from March-April but realized there wasn’t a huge discrepancy.
