<p>My daughter used Study Edge last semester for Econ and Stats. It was a great resource for her when studying for exams. It summarized everything and she didn’t waste time studying material that she didn’t need to. Made her studying more efficient. Smoking Notes are included, which helped too. You can also buy the Smoking Notes at the bookstore if you don’t do Study Edge. Free tutoring by UF is also available for many of the more difficult classes. She felt that Study Edge was well worth the $25/month just to be able to go to the exam preparation sessions.</p>

<p>Harley 1: StudyEdge is a tutoring company across from campus, but they give group reviews that target the professor’s exams (at least that is what Ive heard and read). Ive heard good things about them, but wanted to post here (and a few other places) and get some feedback before I try them… which I am now.</p>
<p>My son is using Study Edge for 2 classes.</p>
<p>If nothing else, if provides the routine and structure for studying. He thinks it is money well spent. I would suggest starting it earlier rather than later.</p>
<p>Just as its name, it may give an edge, but it is no substitute for going to classes, working and studying the subject matter.</p>

<p>Yeah I heard of them too. But Zack and Rich are the perfect combo for math and chem at Study edge. Ive learned more in one week then I have all semester. Plus they are packed at these sessions, even the weekly ones, so now I know why I see blue everywhere.</p>
<p>Zach is awesome for MAC 2311! I got a 76% and 80% on exams 1 & 2, then started study edge. After the reviews, I did all the end of packet problems, and prof. smith’s practice problems. I got 95%, 103%, & 93% on exams 3, 4, & the final, receptively, and finished the class with an A! However, I always did my HW, got all my HITT clicker pts, got near perfect scores on Webassign & discussion quizzes. I also have a friend whom I’ve been telling to buy Study Edge for the past few months for Calc 1. He said no, because of the price. On exam 1 & 2, he got 38% & 44%, respectively. He was really worried about failing or having to withdraw, so I got him the Study Edge packet for exam 3, and gave him my FB acct for a day to use study edge. He did prof. Smith’s problems the day before, and the Study Edge exam review & end of packet problems on the day of the exam. I was expect a B, but…HE GOT 96%!..A 53% improvement. This proves that Zach is a math god. I currently use Zach for Stats 1, and he is still fantastic! Thanks to him, I’m acing both my quizzes & labs, even though I barely watch the lectures, and I got 97% on exam 1! (which was higher than all but 1 of my friends). I plan on using him for Physics in junior year.</p>
<p>As for CHM 2045, Rich is a great teacher, and he really makes stuff easier to understand. Many of the questions he puts in the packet mimic those that the profs put on exams. Watch his reviews, do BOTH end of packet & ur profs old exams, and u should be fine. It’s not nearly as easy as MAC 2311 though ;)</p>
<p>I would highly recommend Study Edge. My son joined this semester for Calc 3. He has a teacher rated as one of the worst at UF with a very thick Russian accent that no one can understand. He did stop going to her lectures because he was not getting anything out of them at all. But with Study Edge and going to his TA’s study sessions, he has gotten nothing below a 92 on all his exams!</p>

<p>@2013Cheer: Yeah they have put up lists when we go to reviews that they are offering it looks like everything but business calc.</p>
