What’s the best MCAT study plan for an engineer major?

You should complete your med school science requirements before prepare for Mcat. The self study prep is almost a full time job. You may want to take a whole summer doing nothing but study for it. The prep courses by outside tutoring company will take even longer so you will have to prepare for the heavy course load.

D. was actually taking Physics while preparing for the MCAT during junior year. She said it was helpful to take MCAT couple weeks after her Physics and Physiology finals, because material was fresh for her. She took very long time for preparatiion because she had very heavy load of everything, she did everyhting during school year, there were no summer opportunites in our home town. for her. In the last few weeks (maybe last couple months), she was studying for about 4 hrs every day, while she did not need to prepare Gen. Chem at all since she was an SI in this class. She made sure to have a heavy load in the first 2 years. and ligher in junior / senior years. But she was NOT an engineering major, engineers have much more challenging academics than everybody else.
