studying abroad in switzerland

does anyone know if how studying abroad in switzerland is? i know it’s really expensive. but the program seems like so much fun! i’m thinking of taking the public health course and in that course we get to go to the world health organization in geneva, and there’s a separate three day trip to milan and northern italy and another three day trip to france and the alps…no paris though =[. thats one downside and the other is the cost…it’s almost $6000 w/o plane tickets and spending money…so most likely i’ll be spending almost $10000 on this trip. worth it? i feel like the summer’s the best time to go to europe cause it’s short that way i dont spend that much. what do you guys think?

Is this a program through your school (exchange) or through another study abroad group? Or is it a private program?

do you organize your own flights You could tack on a few days (weeks??) and do Paris and a few other places on your own. It’s easy to do - I dragged a Girl scout trip around Europe by train a couple of years back.

How long is the actual course? Switzerland itself is gorgeous (we stayed 10 days in the girl scout chalet there). Don’t know anything about study abroad there. Sounds pretty expensive depending on the length of the course. We did our whole trip (about 4 weeks) for about $4000pp including airfare.
