I recently decided that I want to study abroad to experience a new culture. Will this hinder my chances of getting into Phillips Andover or any good Massachusetts boarding private schools? Will it increase my chances of getting into a good boarding private school? I am going into 8 grade and I would go for a semester or a year, depending on circumstances. Thanks

I don’t think that it would really affect your application, but it would definitely be a cool thing to talk about during an interview.
