Studying Overseas

<p>I'm currently a Junior in a small town with big ambitions, one of which is to study in Scotland. I know this is sometimes called "foolish" for undergrad study, but from what I understand, the tuition and living costs for both Edinburgh and the University of Saint Andrews are equivalent (roughly at least) to those at other schools I am interested in, including NYU. Money shouldn't be a problem once admitted, but as anyone who has looked at both schools' websites, particularly that of the University of Edinburgh, entry requirements for American students are vague to say the least. I am roughly a 3.8 gpa student, am taking all of the AP classes offered at my school, and I am retaking the SAT next week. Any advice or information on admissions, including personal experience in these colleges, would be extremely helpful.
