I made a huge error on my TAG applications for the UC’s. I applied as a Sociology major for UCI, UCSD, UCSB, UCD, and UCR. After discussing it with my parents and putting more thought into a major that would be most beneficial to me in the pursuit of a career in the dental, pharmaceutical, or medical fields, I decided to apply for science majors instead and thus on the official UC applications, I applied primarily for science majors. By this time (November), the TAG applications had already been reviewed and approved by the schools and I had no way of making changes :(

This is my information:

GPA: 3.31 (will go up to 3.44 by the conclusion of Spring 2011 semester)
IGETC Completed
TAGs Submitted–>Sociology

Science PreReqs Completed:

Is there any way I can notify the UC’s and inform them of the change I made to my majors on the official application? Will I be able to save my TAG applications and keep them valid if I request any changes? Did I just royally screw up my chances of being guaranteed admission to any of those UC schools?

Please help me out. I would appreciate any feedback & advice. Thank you kindly in advance
