Stupid question...

From an FAQ on the application:

Can I have someone other than a teacher submit a letter of recommendation?
Yes. Northwestern requests at least one teacher recommendation but will accept additional letters of recommendation from people other than teachers.

It says people other than teachers. Does this include students? Some schools, including Dartmouth, allow a peer reccommendation. Does Northwestern?

I don’t believe so…you could always call admissions to double check, but I think it’d be safer to ask a coach/director/employer/advisor instead.

Yeah, you can, as long as you’ve submitted one teacher rec.

I’ve asked a lot of the top colleges the same question (Georgetown, Emory, some Ivies), and all of them have said yes.
