And I bet you thought only teenagers did stupid stuff like this?

The article says this is about an ongoing feud between neighbors. I’ve heard of these types of stories before, many don’t end well.

Life is just far too short to carry on feuds like this. Oy.

Also… the comments… they give me little hope for our future shakes head lol

I used to pick up the ‘presents’ my neighbor’s dog left on my yard every morning in a plastic bag and deposit it on their sidewalk.

Given, postal inspectors/police have no sense of humor, I wouldn’t have used the mailbox, however I understand his frustrations.

An executive at a Palo Alto software giant was charged Monday with four felony counts of burglary, after authorities said he allegedly made his own bar code stickers, switched the tags, and then bought boxes of LEGOs at Target stores for huge discounts.

Thomas Langenbach, 47, who lists himself as the vice president at Palo Alto’s SAP Labs Integration and Certification Center on his LinkedIn profile, is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in Santa Clara County Court .

He has a multimillion dollar home - he needs to scam for Legos?

I know a CEO who had a disagreement with another CEO, and when he left the building, keyed the other CEO’s car.

what a f****** idiot! the hubris of some supposedly “smart” people around here is absolutely breathtaking!!

Just wanted to add my lovely neighbor was a pro athlete and didn’t give a dam about his neighbors. It was a happy day for all when they left.

There are many non-executives who do stupid things as well…

There are probably a lot more non-executives that do stupid things but they may not have the wealth, education, power and position that executives do.

Why?

People have a weird view of executives…

They are just people…

dstark, you are obviously correct. However, it is particularly jangling to the mind to see someone with so much power and so much money, stooping so low. It’s the gap analysis: If a teenager acts like a juvenile delinquent, it is not surprising. When a CEO acts like a juvenile delinquent, the gap between expectation & position vs. action is greater.

What, are executives much smarter then the general public? I know many blue collar workers who are likely more intelligent then many corporate executives…the problems and issues are the same % across our population, whether you are an executive or truck driver

doggie do in the mailbox? I thought you were supposed to put it on the porch in a brown paper bag, light it on fire, ring the doorbell and run away… hoo hoo! ha ha!!

I would only give my neighbor a present of dog poop if it belonged to them (ie, their dog)

The only difference is that it’s news when an executive for some famous entity does it. It wouldn’t be national news if an executive for a trucking firm in Oklahoma did it.
