Stupid Ucap Update Login

<p>is requiring me to put my email address as my password for the first time i login. What if my email address is longer than the space provided??? stupid way of logging in especially for the first time, if you ask me. How did you deal with it? I’m going to call them up tomorrow if bypassing this step is possible.</p>

<p>you just have to enter as many as possible and it will let u log in…i can’t even add my (ya)hoo.com at the end but it just sign in neways and it prompt me to change my password</p>

<p>just to give you guys an update on the ucap login dilemma. If you got a confirmation from the mail it gives you your email that is shortened. It now works :)</p>

<p>can you use the ucap thing to make changes to your application (such as grades received in classes and planned classes)? I still cant log into it so I don’t know… :\ I hope I can log in soon</p>

<p>‘In keeping with its mission as a public university, The University of California will make every effort to offer admission to one of its campuses to every qualified California resident.’</p>

<p>does that mean i should have only applied to UCLA to increase my chances to get in? lol</p>

UCAP website is just a website where you can see and update personal information.
the APPLICATION UPDATE, which opens up Jan 7th is a place to put in your final grades for FALL 07 and Courses in Progress
and berkeley applicants need to also go to MYBERKELEYAPP, which is open now to update some extra info that Berkeley needs.</p>

<p>From there you update your application. I also noticed that at riverside and UCI you can create school accounts with your UC App ID. I can’t do it yet, so I’m not sure what the purpose of it is, but if you’ve received a confirmation e-mail from the school I believe you can try it out.</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure absolutely no one can long in to update grades for Fall 07 yet, it says January 7th, and I followed instructions verbatim. How did one of you long in? I can long into the MY Berkeley but not the UC, even Berkeley says on theirs the general UC will not be available until the 7th…</p>
