Stupidest reason for taking a class?

Mine is pretty average. Had a crush on the professor. Still do. :frowning:
What about you?

I haven’t taken it yet but I plan on taking Human Sexuality in the spring. I know I’m going to regret it but I want to see if it will be possible for me to get through a lecture without laughing. I doubt I would considering that I’m the only one who laughs when we turn to page 69 anymore.

Because the class is not at 8 AM. It’s not fun to have to wake up to be in class that early, especially since I commute to campus and have to leave extra early for that, and if it’s winter than I have to allow forever for my car to defrost- which seemed like most of the school year. I just don’t like dealing with mornings. My school started around 7 AM all through high school, and for this fall semester I tried my hardest to revolve my schedule around starting at a later hour :D

lol you are my hero! That’s hilarious. I usually can control my laughter, but I’m not afraid to have a sense humor like yours and laugh if I want to. :)

I was so tempted to take “Eroticism in the Middle Ages” for the title. Or another class where the shortened version of the name looked like “Domination in the Animal Kingdom.” Teehee. Ended up with “Gay and Lesbian Studies” just so I could come out to my parents before going to college.

I took an invitation-only math class first semester because I thought “an introduction to mathematical modeling and chaos theory” sounded impressive (bearing in mind that there are very few college-educated people in my family). I’m glad I decided to take it though because the class really was fascinating and the professor was awesome.
