Subject Test Epic Fail?

I had a question about my Physics SAT Subject Test. I received a 730 on it as well as an 800 on Math II. I had a bad day on the Physics test and am certain that I don’t deserve the 730. My question is, will the 730 significantly impact my application or should I retake it?

Thanks

When I took them, I had a good day but still got less than your score but more than 700 on both :stuck_out_tongue:
As the MIT geniuses said anything > 700 is enough, I guess it still holds true :)

No. Your scores are fine.

Thank you!

Hmmmm… so a 730 is now an “EPIC FAIL”. Assuming that the OP was not deliberately stirring, then that is vaguely sad. When I hear “Epic Fail” then I am thinking of something south of 500, maybe an argument could be made for below 600. And heck 500 is supposed to be the median. So a score that comes in at approximately the 98th percentile is hopelessly inadequate? Sigh… There are things to stress over in college application season, this is SO not one of them.

I believe that the meaning of “epic fail” has now become “worse than expected” for any performance, and not just the SAT. I may be wrong though.

is there a way to report 3 subject tests for the application?
i took bio chem and math with 750, 760, 800 respectively.
if i cant include all 3 should i put bio or chem in?

Additional info maybe…

I apologize if my use of epic fail had a negative connotation in this context. It is a joke that some of my friends use when, as shravas said, something unexpected in a negative way (any amount, it is not exclusive to grand catastrophes) happens.

I also used it as a funny grabber and to lighten the generally tense mood around college app season.

The joke may have been in bad form, considering the responses it evoked.
