<p>Hi! I gave my SATs in November and got a terribly low score (1780). (Which is kind of surprising because I was hitting 2100 in practice tests). Anyway, I am planning on majoring in Economics at Northwestern University. Do you think it is okay if I do my SAT Subject Tests before I take my SAT again?
Plus, I am an international student.</p>
<p>I would retake the SAT first. It’s more important than subject tests, which may or may not be required depending on what other colleges you plan on applying to.</p>
<p>Well, i know I am going to apply to universities that require or recommend SAT Subject Tests. What would colleges say? Do they prefer SATs to be taken before Subject Tests?</p>
