D’s landlord allows sub-letting of their house over the summer months. This is the first year she and her housemates have rented. If they all do sublet, what does one normally do with clothes, printer, tv’s dvd’s etc.?

I would imagine depends what they are offering- fully furnished or not. If fully furnished, it is expected to have all the basic furnishings like a couch, beds, desks, lamps, etc. If they wish, they can just throw in the tv. But as everything else like DVDs and computers, ask the landlord if there’s a storage in the house or they can put them in a commerical storage.

son sublet last year. He brought home things of value-clothes, jewelry, computer etc. Kept most school related things there-bed, lamps, fans, TV, cubicles for storage. His particular house had a basement so he put certain things away (I have heard some people put things in a locked box or storage center even) that was out of the way.
