Submit ACT (no writing) scores to colleges?

Hi,

I took the ACT in April and June. In April I wrote the essay, but in June I did not. My composite score in June was better, so I would like to submit that score. However, because I did not take the writing test I am worried that I can not submit this score to colleges.

If I am applying to colleges that require that I submit all test scores, can I submit the June ACT score? Will they consider it for admission?

Thank you.

Just some extra information.

I want to apply to some Ivy League schools, including Cornell.

Check the web sites of those schools. Some require the ACT with writing. They may not take the version without. They may also require SAT subject tests. Check the web sites.
