Submit my SAT score at all?

I think my applications require that I say whether I took the SAT or not and what my scores were, and even though they require a score report to be fully considered in admissions, I think they’ll believe you for the most part, especially if you have good grades and look trustworthy.

I got **31 ACT **and **680 M, 640 CR, 720 W. **
Some colleges superscore ACT, and I got 700 Reading and 790 Math equivalent on ACT, but do I have to submit both ACT score reports(from different dates) for them to superscore? **My main concern here was that I hear that a vast amount of applications submit their SAT score, **and my 31 is like a 1400 compared to my 1320 SAT, but some scholarships for college might want the SAT. I know they take the higher of the two, but it costs more money and it could look somewhat bad compared to other students who have higher SATs.

I ask this mainly because I see admissions people really encouraging you to send both, but I don’t want to look like I’m hiding behind my ACT score because almost everyone takes the SAT. Should I send both or just send my ACT?

just send the ACT, that is what I did

I should probably ask my guidance counselor, but I want colleges to see my 680M(not great but it’s good) and 720W. But if I submit them via collegeboard, don’t they have to use them when they publish the scores of the freshman class, or is that if they choose to take your SAT scores over your ACT scores.

ooh, nice thread =]

sorry if this is slightly off topic and taking over your topic, but should i send my sat scores to my in-state public safety/ put them on my application if my act scores basically guarantee that ill get in?
