<p>Dear simpson98 : With an interest in international relations, I would suggest that Tufts would be a much better academic fit than Boston College - if that is truly your intended direction. Not trying to deter your interest in BC, just that Tufts excels and sells itself in international relations.</p>

<p>I realize that, I’m also applying to Tufts RD if I get deferred from Georgetown. Even so, BC is still above Tufts in my mind, as far as undergraduate experiences go. Tufts’ reputation in IR, as I understand it, is really based more upon its graduate studies than its undergrad, so I’m looking for different qualities in my undergrad schools.</p>
