for UCLA’s medical insurance (called SHIP), you can either pay for it or waive it. you do this when you pay for your first quarter’s tuition. if you decide to waive it, you’ll have to submit proof of medical insurance in place of that.

is there a place for getting contact prescriptions? i live in NorCal and my parents are worried about this. is there an on-campus medical center that takes care of medical needs of its students or do we have to go to places off campus?

looks like theres several optometrists in westwood. cant you also order from like 1800contacts.com or something?

http://www.westwoodvillageonline.com/stores.php?store_cat=7

oh ok. anyone in UCLA who is using contacts kno where to go for contacts? thanks a bunch.

When I was visiting, I saw Long’s Drugs and Rite Aide-both of which sell contacts if tht’s what you mean. You can probably get prescriptions filled and get whatever medication you need there too.

I second kfc, go get a facebook!

why don’t you get your contacts from 1800contacts? shipping is free and they arrive like the day after you order them.

dont u need to know how bad ur eyes are (whatever its called) so u know what kind of contact prescription u need?
