<p>Just wondering…if Amherst places more validity on a students ACT or SAT scores. I took both and did well on the SAT, but I did extremely well on the ACT. Would I be at a disadvantage if I just submitted my ACT score? Thanks!</p>
<p>They treat them equally. There are conversion charts they use (e.g. the one linked at the bottom of [this</a> page](<a href=“http://professionals.collegeboard.com/data-reports-research/sat/sat-act]this”>Score Comparisons – SAT Suite | College Board)) to compare the two. Submit whichever is best.</p>
