Submitting an application early have any impact on wait time?

<p>I am appling for a engineering ms degree at several schools. I submitted a few applications that aren’t due for months. USC isn’t due till April I think. Do schools make decisions before the deadline? I have a membership on USNews and they said that many of the schools with later deadlines handle their admissions on a rolling basis, yet this isn’t mentioned on their respective admissions websites. Has anyone heard of graduate schools that have rolling admissions?</p>

<p>no. i know one guy who submitted his app right before the deadline but one of his teacher didn’t submit his rec until 1.5 weeks after the deadline. He then got accepted to the program the day the teacher submitted his rec. This was Berkeley chemE.</p>
