Hello! I am involved in the broadcast department at my school and have won multiple awards for my work. I was wondering if I am applying for Chemical Engineering if it would be in any way beneficial to show some of the video productions that I have made. I feel like this aspect sets me apart from the typical applicant, and want to incorporate this in my application if possible. Does anyone have experience with highlighting artwork or video production when not applying for a school of arts and sending in a portfolio? How would I go about presenting my work? Thank You.

I don’t think an arts supplement would help your engineering admission at most schools

What if I am seeking a minor in video production?

If it’s just a minor, I’m not sure that it is something that a school will care about a lot. Also, most schools don’t have the time to look at that. Some will, but a lot just don’t have the time to do things like that.
