I received a 36 composite on my first ACT and a 1540 on my first SAT, and I don’t think I plan on taking either of them again. Will the difference in my two scores look bad to the extremely competitive colleges that require students to send all of their test scores?
1540 is very good. and with your 36, I wouldn’t worry.
I have a 36 and a 1550 SAT, and had the same thoughts at first. At the end of the day, though, your highest score is usually what’s considered. An 1140 might be cause for concern, but a 1540 is equal to a 34. That’s not abysmal.
