Submitting Multiple Intent to Enroll

What are the consequences of submitting my intent to enroll at multiple universities, in order to buy myself more time to make a final decision?

As an international student, would this lead to problems with processing my student visa?

Thanks.s

I don’t know about Visas but if schools check with eachother then you risk your admission rescinded at all schools. I suggest you call schools and ask for an extension.

I doubt schools communicate with each other, but I highly HIGHLY advise that you don’t do this. If anything ask for some sort of extension.

I believe that only one place can issue you an I-20 a time, but you should check up on it. Without that, you can’t have your visa interview. It is OK to contact the universities and ask for a bit more time, especially if you are waiting for confirmation of financial aid and scholarship packages.
