Submitting Resumes?

I just realized that I forgot to submit my resume to schools, should I add it in now? The supplementary materials section is still open. Thank you for the advice!

We never wrote a resume. We did fill out the EC sections which had a resume feel. My daughter did well without it. If you think it adds something not covered, add it, if it is the same snapshot they have, don’t sweat it.

I would submit only if it were required on the application.

Presumably, the application itself includes what the school wants to see in the format in which they want to see it.

Unless they ask for a resume I wouldn’t submit one.

Oh no-- I submitted one
Mostly because I forgot a few things in the application profile.

I think no harm if you DID do it. No need to overthink this bit, IMO.

A reason to submit it would be to explain one (or more) of the extracurriculars - SAO at least doesn’t really let you do that. Some things are obvious, others aren’t.

I sent in a general resume (explaining more in depth of my ecs like math comps, community service, sports, and music) and a specific music resume (more awards, achievements, teaching, etc). Is that fine?

What’s done is done, but I really hope your general resume is no more than one page

It should be fine. Don’t fret about it. Especially with your accomplishments Gateway would not do justice.

Thank you all for your responses! I forgot a few activities on my candidate profile so I might submit one.

I did two, because I couldn’t cut the information of my top ECs (All outside of school).

I did like 2-3 pages :skull: Oh well

I didn’t add Community, Service and several awards for math and music. But I added them on my resume. I’m going to hope they won’t just ignore the resume and ignore those activities because the resume was long.
