2 years as founder of women in politics & economics club
2 years as founder of mock trial team
3 summers volunteering at a children’s reading program at library

really like schools with actual campuses (quads, centralized campus in one area) but in big cities (NY, LA, boston, DC, but not midwest) & am exploring/interested in going abroad (UK, france, canada, netherlands, etc)

dream/favorites currently are columbia, georgetown, brown, mcgill

I think your chances at McGill are high since they really only consider stats. The other three are really hard to get into… consider EDing to one of them to get the best shot. If you ED to Columbia or Brown, you can also EA to Georgetown. Other schools to look into may be UChicago (reach), American (high safety), and BU (high safety). What is worrying me is your title “subpar imperfect student”. You are not subpar if you are in the top percentile for your SAT. If you portray yourself like that in your essays, you will lower your chances. I believe in you (you got this) and good luck!
