Successful appeal letter to HAAS UC Berkeley?

Anyone willing to share what points to write for appeal letter to HAAS UC Berkeley for a transfer student from California Community College?

What would be the basis of appeal? Beyond a major mistake, such as a wrong or incorrect transcript, there would be not reason to change the admissions decision.

@Mwfan1921 I have 4.0 GPA, have leadership roles on campus (student government senator and club president), peer tutor and peer mentor. I got interviewed by HAAS. My original interview was cancelled 30 minutes before, then rescheduled to another day to only a phone call because they have technical difficulties. Is the interview (it was supposed to be a video call like what other applicants have) a good point to make for the appeal?

Interviews are optional, and technically not part of the evaluation rubric, which you can see here - 50% grades and coursework, 35% essays, 15% resume. https://haas.berkeley.edu/undergrad/admissions/application-process/

I don’t think having a phone vs in person interview, for something that is optional, would be a basis for appeal. Again there has to be some type of mistake made for a successful appeal. Haas gets far more transfer applicants than they can take, and although it’s disappointing, I expect they turn away 4.0 students every year.

Did you meet all of the academic requirements on the above link? If so, I expect your essays and/or resume fell short somehow–together those two factors represent 50% of the evaluation. Although your ECs are fine, I expect many successful applicants had business type activities and/or internships on their resumes.

What are your other transfer options?
