I am interested in consulting for a future career, and am beginning to narrow down my path to which type of consulting I would prefer…that’s where I began to wonder if there was such a job as an Architectural Consultant. I have always loved architecture, but recently have discovered that I only really like it from an admiral stand-point, and not that of a builder’s. That being said, can anyone please enlighten me on this matter? And if there is such a job title, then can anyone give me some resources, or companies that you know of who offer said position?
Anything regarding this general topic would help exponentially with my current sense of qualm, thank you in advance!

I’m confused about this question. An architect is a consultant, we typically just advise the owner on what he should build, we don’t actually build it. What part of the profession are you trying to avoid?

rick

Probably all the bad parts.

Maybe the technical parts.
