You people are enablers. I just use a Nike duffel bag I’ve had for years, and carry a yoga mat separately. I had no idea such cute bags existed

That bag is really nice 1214!! I wish I could see the inside of it - seems there are no pockets inside…

I like Scout bags. You can wash them though -you could wipe them off.

Reporting from the local Lulu store: the bag linked above got discounted to $59, and the two that were on the shelves are gone in a matter of minutes. However, there is a better (IMO, b/c it is lighter) bag:

Just looked it up - very nice! Out of stock online though. 
I still haven’t found the “perfect” one yet and was actually looking at some online w/D1 this morning. She DOES actually prefer something bigger as opposed to a tote it seems. So that size bag could be very good.
I would let her pick it out. I use a drab green duffle I bought at a Bally’s Total Fitness Gym a long time ago for $10. When daughter needed a softball bag she picked it out and it was Nike, I think and like $60. Pretty much just a duffle bag but it had side pockets and I think a pocket inside too. It’s black w/ a logo, not the least bit feminine.
So, perhaps my bag saga is finally done!
Had such a hard time finding something “right”. D wanted something sort of “duffle-ish” so she could put everything needed for the gym in it and change at work - but, she also wanted something that she might be able to use to go to the beach/pool and bring a few items and snacks. I pushed the button on this bag at Eddie Bauer today (40% off and free shipping!) - after watching the video I think it’s a good fit. Has an insulated zip pocket for water bottle or beach drinks that is separate from the clothing area. Two ways to carry. Option to attach her yoga mat. Outside zippered areas for phone, etc. if she wants to not bring her purse. If she doesn’t like it - I’ll keep it! I’m a sucker for bags!!!
