I bought this stuff called “iKlean” from the Apple store… It is made for the MacBooks and the other Mac computers. I have been using it on my black MacBook for three or four months now and it is amazing. Think of it like waxing your car-when you put it on for the first time, it creates a layer that keeps many, many fingerprints from showing up on the outside and screen of your laptop…

Not sure were you are talking about cleaning, the outside or keyboard or screen, but in general you can use standard window cleaner sprayed on a paper towel until it it damp, NOT WET. If you have some harder to clean areas that are yucked up(technical term) then put a little 409 or other liquid cleaner on the towel and use your finger in the towel to ‘spot clean’ that area.
Most of this applies to the screen and keyboard but since this is a book you might find someone with access to compressed air or get a can of compressed air from an office supply or computer store and use that to clean between the keys and any openings that might be full of lint or dust.
DO NOT USE any harsh cleaners, solvents stronger than window cleaner or furniture polish. If you have any auto windshield washer fluid that works well too in a spray bottle.
You might look on the Mac web site or if you have it, your original instruction book which should have some thoughts on cleaning it.

iKlean ftw
