Suggestions for FREE Cash Back Credit Card for small non-profit corporation?

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a FREE cash back credit card for a non-profit? The card we were using only for our non-profit which gave cash back has started charging an annual fee so we’re cancelling it. Would love suggestions for a replacement. Our non-profit is quite small & generally doesn’t spend more than a thousand or less a month in expenses, plus some payroll, taxes, insurance, etc.

Thanks!

My son has a Charles Schwab Brokerage+Checking AC. Their card has no fees and gives 2% cash back every month on all purchases. In addition, it does not have foreign exchange transaction fees, their debit card pays all the ATM fees. He recently traveled abroad and got the best exchange rate for cash withdrawals.

We are going to Canada and will be using his card.

Oh and he is a grad student. I am sure your non-profit has more money than him.

My Amazon Visa gives one percent cash back and three percent back on Amazon purchases. No fee. You sign up on Amazon if you have an account. You have to earn a certain number of points before you’re able to call and ask for the cash back. You can use the points for other things like air miles but I haven’t fully explored that. Love just getting the check every once in a while. You have to remember to call and ask for it, though.

You can also try

Fidelity® Investment Rewards® American Express® Card

Earn 2% on purchases to invest into your Fidelity account. Connect it to a mySmart Cash Account ® or brokerage account. Earn rewards by using your card for regular expenses, like gas and grocerie

Bit higher minimums than Schwab though, but 2% cash back and auto sweep every month.

My Citibank MasterCard is cash back, no fee. 1%. They send me a check automatically when I get to the right level.

You may also want to check with your local credit unions. They may be able to work more closely with a non-profit.

You can also get branded gasoline credit card such as Shell MC from Citi. You get 5% on all Shell/Jiffy Lube purchases and 1% on other things.

Thanks for these thoughts. I was thinking of something designed for businesses/non-profits. I have the Charles Schwab, but it’s for individuals not businesses & they stopped offering the 2% on cards after May (still honor those who got it prior to deadline).

Hoping for anyone with experience getting a card for SMALL non-profit corporation.

Wow Simba. Good one - thanks. Didn’t know Fidelity offered this.

The Discover Card has one specifically for small businesses that I have used. You can have multiple cards with specific names on them that tie into one main account for billing purposes. They offer 5% back on office supplies, 2% back on gasoline purchases and 1% back on everything else.

Thanks–one problem is that there are many places that don’t accept Discover, but that’s a good tip.
