Suggestions for low reach and reach schools

<p>Already applied to and accepted by my financial safety options. Looking to add some low reach and reach options.</p>

<p>Criteria: East Coast or Southeast
Desired major: Civil Engineering
Med or Large Campus
Suburban or Urban setting
Preference for schools with Greek Life
Looking for a challenging, but not cutthroat, environment
Home state of Georgia</p>

<p>Stats:
ACT 32
GPA unweighted 3.84, weighted 4.2
likely salutorian
No AP courses (attend small private school where they are not offered)
11th grade- 12 credits of dual enrollment at 4 year state uni, 4.0
Current schedule: 16 credits of dual enrollment fall and 16 planned for spring. A’s in all courses currently.
EC-VP of National Honor Society, varsity soccer player, math team, volunteer hours 9th and 10th, volunteer 11th and 12th as math tutor
Employed as lifeguard and swim lesson instructor</p>

<p>Financial: interested in schools that will provide merit aid or meet need. Parents are able to supply EFC only plus some help with transportation and books.</p>

<p>Applied and accepted at Uof A and Ole Miss, will apply to GA Tech</p>

<p>Seeking thoughts about chances at Vandy or Duke and other suggestions for reach schools.</p>

<p>You can narrow your list to a more manageable size by eliminating all schools less desirable than your safeties. Then you can decide from the remaining possible schools whether to apply to them.</p>

<p>If there are no reach schools you like better than your safeties, then you do not need to apply to any reach schools.</p>
