Off to Jamaica to an all inclusive resort on Friday. I’ve never been to Jamaica. Any suggestions for off resort trips? We will be there for a week.
I went a long time ago, but I remember Dunn’s River falls (sp?) being fun.
Where in Jamaica?
We went to the Glistening Waters Luminous Lagoon. I’d say it’s one of those odd things we don’t regret, but we’re like that. Muck, up to mid-calf, at least.
Jamaica for me is mainly about the food. Yes, definitely go climb Dunn’s River Falls, but also see about getting some of the local cuisine and fruits. Jerk chicken/pork, curry of all types, Bombay mangos, lychee, star apple, mangosteen, breadfruit, etc.
Another vote for Dunn’s River Falls. Bring your own water shoes.

Dinner at Ivan’s Bar & Restaurant At Catcha Falling Star Hotel in Negril - great food and an amazing view.
Visiting Dunn’S River Falls is included in the resort cost. Glistening Waters is an optional excursion.
