I recently changed rooms because if housing issues in my university and moved into a single with two other established roommates and another girl just moving in. Everything about them is great except one thing. They want to hangout every night and drink in the living room. When I try to just stay in my room they call me out on it and make me feel bad about wanting to have my personal space. This isn’t saying that I don’t want to hangout with them occasionally. But I just cant on a Tuesday night when I have class the next day. What can I do or say to change this?
“Sorry, got early class tomorrow”. Don’t feel bad about it, you have your eye on the long term reason you are in college. As long as you can still sleep while they are partying – if not, that is s different problem.
