I’m thinking about applying to the Sumac 2013 program. If you guys/girls went to sumac, could you post your stats? Thanks!

I also took the AMC10 last year and scored a 118.5. For science- I took Pre-AP Biology and Pre-AP chemistry freshman year; now I am taking AP chemistry, Pre-AP physics, AP computer science A.

Extracurriculars:
High school varsity swim team, placed 3rd individually at UIL regionals last year
Club swim team, qualified for state championships
High school varsity orchestra, violin, qualified for region orchestra (1st violin) freshman and sophomore year (currently waiting for all-state results)
Went to UIL Regionals for mathematics freshman year
Member of Invisible Children freshman year
Volunteer at MathCounts practices in middle school
Kumon math tutor freshman year
Texas Theory Test medalist since 2nd grade
Piano lessons since age 4 (superior ratings in Solo Festival, Hymn Festival, Guild)

thanks for your input!

Wow! Thats a lot!
Well I am in 10th grade. I gave the AP Calc BC in 9th grade and got a 5. I gave SAT Math Level 1 and 2 and got 800. I would be giving the AP Physics Mechanics and Electricity and also AP Statistics this May.
I play the flute and am going to start the piano in a couple of months.
I volunteered for a couple of hours in a blind school, animal adoption centre and old age home. My school grades are mostly A’s. And this summer I did EPGY at Stanford. My course was Number Theory.
Well thats it.
Your applications going to be amazing! I am sure you will get in SUMaC.

Oh my my you guys are amazing! I am from India and also thinking to apply. Do foreign students stand a chance considering I have not given any AP, SAT , PSAT etc?

@rwhg123: Thanks, and you’re pretty awesome too! Did you apply this year?
@jmlover: I haven’t taken the PSAT/SAT yet, so I couldn’t give them my scores. I did mention my AP scores however. All the best!
