I am a 2nd year student studying economics looking for an internship for summer 2019. I know jobs in economics are broad in general, but is there a certain area/ certain companies that a lot of economics interns tend to go for? I’m relatively new to the major so I haven’t built up too many connections that could give me any first-hand experience on this matter, so I’m gonna be applying to everything that might suit me.
Also, if it’s worth any weight, I go to school in Florida and I am also open to working at most places on the East Coast, especially Washington D.C.
