<p>What summer activites are worth mentioning? In the summer of 2011 I went to the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, which is definitely what I want to focus on, but the following summer was much more uneventful. I visited a few colleges, tried and failed to find a summer job, and helped my aunt with some yard work. Are any of these things worth mentioning, or should I just leave the summer of 2012 out of my response</p>
<p>DO NOT LEAVE OUT SUMMER 2012. Find something worthwhile. Did you help out at church? Helping your aunt, did it affect you at all? Did failing at a job make you realize something? Never skip, but exaggerated…</p>
<p>My mom is an interviewer and part of the prospective student committee, they love it when you find a grain of promise in an uneventful summer.</p>
