<p>last year (im a 2010-er) all we had to do was some dumb discussion in our residence halls. i didnt attend the gatsby (that was our book) panel discussion, and i really dont know anyone who did. apparently for SOME writing seminars it can be graded as your first official grade, but a) i dont know how weighted it is, and b) this is REALLY rare, because ive never actually met anyone who had to do that. however, im a little hesitant to totally dispell the rumor.</p>
<p>I didn’t do the reading or go to the discussion. There were no consequences.</p>
<p>it said that it would be taken up and sent in for a contest…but not read by the teachers or anything…sooooooo…ok, i still don’t know.</p>

<p>this book sucks so bad. I mean…does she not believe in quotation marks!!! I can’t even tell who is speaking half of the time! Call me simple or whatever you want to…but I simply cannot stand how the author writes. She writes a sentence…and then a word…eugh.</p>
