Summer camps aid in admissions?

What if I went to a summer camp like SAAST for two years in a row…would that help me in terms of admissions given the fact that I already payed like $10 grand to the school in going to this camp?

or are they just gonna see me as some rich kid tryin to buy his way into penn

most prolly the second…sorry!

They could care less if you gave them 10K…it’s like pocket change to them

I must say that it’d be a cool EC to talk about…and a great way to be able to boost your why penn essay

It’s not going to help. No school is neccesarily going to give you more weight than someone who couldn’t go to this–which includes LOTS of people. I suppose it shows interest in the school, but I’m pretty sure that they’d rather you just do something of more motivation, work, etc., like research. My friend spent $10K at Harvard summer school and couldn’t get into any Ivy. Truly, these camps count for crap.
