Summer classes what should i take?

Hello I am an international student and i am going to attend Community college before start Fall semester at UT austin.

I am planning to internal transfer to Business major

I knew that I have to have a credit for Cal1+2 and Micro and macro econ credit

So over the summer I am going to take Micro and Macro econ, but i am not sure if i want to take Cal1+2 in CC.

Because one of my friend in UT austin (she is an international student too) says that Cal1+2 are manageable.

So since i am an international student should i take Government or English classes that i am probably going to struggle more at UT austin? or should i just need to take Cal1+2 ??

I am not really strong to Math since Calculus teacher did not teach anything in class.

I need some advice!!

Please help me out!!

Thank you

You can search around this forum or use google, I’m pretty sure no one every said that Calculus at UT is manageable. All I heard is people complain about how Calculus professors at UT never give a damn about their student and usually they fail at least a quarter of the class. Many UT students take calculus in ACC because the class size is smaller, if they mess up it won’t hurt their UT GPA and also professor over there tend to care about student more than in university.
Now, since your friend say it manageable I would pretty sure she is very smart (maybe a straight A student from China, India or Israel) and you are probably as smart as her too so that won’t a problem.

Thanks for information!

She is from South Korea and she gets scholarship to study in UT.
I heard that she is getting Straight A so far. ( she tries really hard)

Anyways I probably take Cal1+2 over summer! Thanks
