<p>I am in a freshman in a Combined BA/MD Degree Program in which I am guaranteed acceptance into my university’s medical school after 4 years of undergraduate coursework. Knowing that I have to only meet minimum requirements for acceptance into medical school, I’m starting to focus on the next step - residency.</p>
<p>I’m considering going to a summer program in some “prestigious” hospital and gain some clinical experience just for personal satisfaction and maybe for residency applications (if it counts) - shadowing or research, unless you would recommend to just shadow at my university’s hospital. </p>
<p>Does anyone have a list of these programs? </p>
