<p>Hey guys,</p>
<p>I’ve got big plans for this summer and would like some opinions. I’ll be taking a placement test and a spanish summer course at a local liberal arts college. Will this carry the same weight in college admissions as taking AP Spanish?</p>
<p>If I do not get a scholarship to attend RISD precollege program, ill take one or two more classes, probably zoology and a math course. My school may not let me put more than one summer class on my transcript, if this happens, will I still get recognition for completing the courses even if they don’t contribute to my GPA?</p>
<p>I’m also getting a job if I don’t go to RISD, I’m going to Costa Rica for a week, building up my photography business and volunteering with my old schools (I’m at boarding school now) band camp.</p>
<p>Thoughts? Am I making good choices for my summer? I really need to cover a lot of lost ground from freshman and sophomore year.
