This I summer I want to take college courses at UCLA, but my parents think it is too expensive and want me to go to the local community college (which they say is just as good as a university), which is much more affordable. UCLA has more courses I am interested in and I want to attend a UC school, but it’s almost $400 a credit unit and my parents hate paying for things. Would taking classes at the community college be just as good or should I try and convince my parents UCLA is better?
