I heard from someone that there were summer programs for high school students which certified them as low-level EMTs (“Emergency Medical Technicians”). Supposedly, the programs are good for garnering experience in the medical field and look great on CV’s. </p>
<p>Requirements for becoming an EMT differ, depending on the state you reside in. Upon a web search, programs for high school students in various states popped up, but there were none for Californian students. </p>
<p>Does anyone have any information on EMT training programs for Californian minors?</p>
