<p>Son has applied for and so far been rejected for REUs. He’s a rising mechanical engineering major. Was wondering if there are any summer programs out there for college students that perhaps offer engineering courses, hands on experience, that are not very competitive, but probably do require tuition payment.</p>
<p>Although it would have been nice to have been paid to learn this summer, that’s not going to happen. No engineering schools locally, so willing to take some summer courses, though not finding many offerings other than graduate level.</p>
<p>Did find one program at Tufts that may be a possibility, but was wondering if there were any others.</p>
