Anyone still waiting on a decision?
I’m still waiting for mechanical engineering, I talked to an admissions advisor on campus today, he told me that all the decisions will probably be up by late tomorrow or early Monday at most. But who knows…
Still waiting to be rejected.
Still waiting… Man this is ridiculous, it’s almost July and I still don’t have a decision. If i’m going to be rejected I would like to know asap.
Now past June 26th and still no decision. I don’t expect to get in at this point, but it’s really insulting that they haven’t given me anything. No correspondence; nothing. I guess I should join those who have gotten upset enough to actually call on Monday.
Is anyone still waiting for a decision? It’s ridiculous how I received no update or anything as well. It’s becoming more painful to refresh the MyStatus page and see no update. This is really disappointing, to say the least…
What major/schools are people still waiting to hear from? I haven’t heard much from Natural Sciences.

@USMCVet14 I’m sorry UT is playing a sick mind game on you and everyone else. Even if you don’t get in for Fall semester, there is always Spring. It’s not right that UT is taking this long to respond to you and isn’t really giving people a straight answer. Hopefully, UT will finally give you a response and some sort of reparation to everyone negatively affected. Best of luck.
I posted earlier about a friend who haden’t had their transcript processed yet but was told by UT to wait it out as they were too busy to process everything. Turns out, UT or the mail service lost the transcript and his application is now considered “late”. He sent in an appeal two weeks ago and is waiting for an answer but is not getting his hopes up. Best of luck to everyone.
UT doesn’t seem to be efficient in admissions this year. Last year we saw so much of action on this board around April 15th itself and most applicants with 30 hrs of credit at time of application were decided upon much before June. I feel so sorry for folks still hanging in uncertainty, wish you all the very best. Hope you see it soon, and can make it to UT despite that you might already have had some decisions made and money already spent elsewhere. I was at UT last week and the welcome they gave us was truly amazing, you’ll love to be there, I guarantee it.

Hi Everyone! I just finished a class for the first summer session at a local CC. I am currently taking one more this current session. How will UT calculate a GPA from my University and the CC credit? Do they average them or will they be looked at individually?(Plan to transfer Spring 2016) Thanks In advance and good luck to anyone still waiting for a decision!

I know this thread is specifically for fall and summer 2015 transfers but I’m hoping you could still help me find out if I’m eligible to transfer to the school of education at UT with my GPA. I heard that I must maintain a 2.0 to even be considered but due to my low GPA, I’m concerned I won’t be able to be accepted this upcoming spring. I was thinking if I don’t get accepted that I should transfer to ACC, go for a semester and raise my GPA, then transfer to UT. But I’m not sure if I could do that? Also I’m finishing up 39 hours by the end of this fall and I possibly will finish with a 3.4…could that possibly boost my chances of admission or is it not considered at all? Please help!!!
