Hey guys! Recently accepted and I was wondering how you guys would feel exchanging IG names so we can stay in touch! I think it’ll be great knowing some people on campus before this fall!
nicee!! @mohyeen_
Hi everyone I’ve been using this thread for a while to stay up to date on when we should be accepted and decided I should finally create an account. I’m hoping to be accepted to CNS in the textiles and apparel major for retail merchandising which is my first choice or moody for PR. I’m still waiting patiently to be accepted. I have 60 credits from getting my associates degree at my local CC (I graduated in December). Would love to be added to the list!
@mrmmrm I think that’s a great idea!
Hey guys, mystatus said my application was in review yesterday and now it says it is “complete”… Is anyone else having this problem? I dont understand please help!!
@lupeluprecia Just means your application is complete, not that the review is complete. Basically your status hasnt changed - just gotta wait a little longer
@stevenjp I do understand that, and thanks for your reply. I think I wasnt specific enough about my situation:
- I completed my application before the march deadline WITH 30 hours
- Immediately after my transcript was received, my status changed to “your application is complete/on time”
- A week later my status changed to IN REVIEW and it was like that ever since.
- Some time between yesterday and today, my application went back from being in review to just being “complete”
This kind of scares me cause I did apply with 30 hours, and I was kind of hoping the change in my status was some kind of glitch… Does anyone have other ideas as to what is causing this? Should I call or just wait it out?
@lupeluprecia my application is still in review. It’s difficult to say what the change means. My application status changed from in review to complete for about 3 days after I finished my Academic Fresh Start paperwork. Have you recently changed/updated any information on your application? I was told that that a status of “in review” just means that the application is is in the hands of those that actually make the admission decision. Please keep us updated on what ever you find out.
@lupeluprecia it sounds like some kind of glitch to me. Maybe call admissions and ask about if? I would try not to worry too much if I were u!
My semester finished last week and I have to say the wait is even worse now than it was before! At least during the semester I had stuff going on to get my mind off it!
Hey guys, former transfer student lurking around. This was me this time last year so I just wanted to pop in and say congrats to those who have been accepted and a big good luck to those still waiting on their admission decision.
Let me know if you have any questions about anything!
Would it materifmy gpa drops from 3.7 last semester to 3.55 this spring semester fortransfer engineering students.Would my chances get low. I had taken really hard classes.
Calc 2 During winter break.
Calc 3 During regular spring semester
Diffeq During regular spring
Programming during regular spring
and Physics 1 during regular spring semester.I have 60 credits. My major is Electrical engineering.I made a blunder by taking those classes.
@lovechickfila , I have a question. I got accepted in a Econ major, and I am going to attend the orientation in June. I know we will all meet advisors to register class during the orientation, but can I visit UT campus and meet an advisor before the orientation? Do I have to have UT ID to meet them?
My roommates are literally signing leases right now… ugh…
@shiba55 Hey! Congrats!
I’m not sure, you can call and see if they’ll let you meet with an advisor, since you’re accepted and not just another student visiting campus, they might see you! It’s worth a call to see Good luck!
Turns out my account got reset, but its sorted out and back in review again. Sorry if I caused any alarm and thanks for the replies… Were getting closer now
How long did it take for UT to receive transcripts? Its been a few days and my application isn’t complete.
@Kyotoraz It took mine a day or two to show up on MyStatus from when I requested the transcript from my school.
I’m a freshman at A&M that auditioned at UT as a voice music major, but wasn’t accepted to the music school. I had less than 30 credit hours and I just submitted a transcript request to be sent to UT, so I won’t know if I’m accepted to COLA (my new 1st and 2nd choice majors) until UT can review my Spring 2015 transcript. I feel like I have a decent shot at getting into COLA with a 3.62 gpa from A&M…does anyone know the chances of internal transfers to the Butler School of Music? I feel like internal transfers have a better shot at making it in. I might even want to try double-majoring with my COLA major then adding music as a 2nd major after one year.
