This may not be the right place to talk about it but at the moment I am pretty desperate. I am a college student, gpa 4.0, and I dont have a place to stay for the summer. I would like to rent a room for the summer somewhere in California or if anyone is looking for a paying guest or anything of the sort please let me know and we can discuss the details. Also, I dont have a very high budget. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
You should try airbnb or craigslist. Also try summer sublets from university students near the area you want to live.
California is a really big state! I agree with partyof5’s suggestions but I would also mention FB. Someone usually knows somebody that needs to sublet a place.
Are you looking in/near college towns? Students are frequently looking for summer subletters. Look into sororities/fraternities which sometimes lease their rooms over the summer.
Thanks everyone. I’ll definitely take your advice. I currently live in Siskiyou County, its just not easy to find a place her and I also want to live somewhere where I can look for jobs nearby.
