<p>I seem to remember a discussion last year about a program in Spain for college students who wanted to experience total immersion in the language. I’ve searched and can’t seem to find the thread. Does anyone else remember that, or does anyone have any information on such programs? Thank you!</p>
<p>I haven’t participated in any, but STA travel offers Spanish language classes in several Spanish-speaking countries, and it is possible to do a homestay through them.</p>

<p>My D is doing a volunteer program in Costa Rica where she lives with a family who speaks no English. She is loving it, and the length of time is self-determined. Look up “proyecto asis” on Google.</p>
