I’m wondering if being accepted and participating in universities’ summer Musical Theatre programs for high school students gives you an advantage when applying to these schools for college? Does anyone know?</p>
<p>It can be either an advantage or disadvantage, depending on the student. The summer program gives the colleges a much longer and closer look at you, so if you do we’ll and get along with others, it may help. But if you don’t impress them, you may end hurting your chances. </p>
